Perry Winkle Print Edition – Misprint Update

Good Afternoon All

Hope you are well

It has been brought to our attention that the print edition is missing four pages.

We have spoken with the printing company and confirmed this is a misprint. They have been extremely helpful and swift in resolving the issue, with a new batch of Perrywinkle containing the missing pages, printing as we speak.

All Kickstarters and online orders will receive the complete copy of Perrywinkle, posted as soon as the shipment has received into Perrywinkle HQ.

If you picked one up at Nottingham Comic Con, please do contact us and we will replace it for you.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

All the best

Patreon and Website Update

Hi All

Over the last few days, we have done a lot of background on the Perry Winkle Comic website, to make it faster and more effective.

Perry Winkle is extremely image heavy and i understand it ran rather slowly for some users. This should now have improved. If you are still having problems, please do let me know, as we are now using a service.

On this note, to help cover the additional costs for the website, i have created a Patreon, if you would be interested in signing up, for as little as $1 (77p), where you can get access to sketches, works in progress etc, earlier then anyone else. Plus a chance to win a monthly original sketch.

Please do check it out and support us.   – Susie Gander Patreon

International Women’s Day

On #InternationalWomensDay, we’re celebrating female physician Dorothy Reed, who had a major influence on the classification of classical Hodgkin lymphoma.

Dr Thomas Hodgkin first described Hodgkin lymphoma in 1832. Some years later Dorothy Reed, along with Carl Sternberg, confirmed that the presence of specific cells indicate classical Hodgkin lymphoma. These cells have a characteristic appearance of ‘owl eyes’ and are now known as Reed–Sternberg cells.
